Tyler Hugon Memorial Fund
Tyler Clarence Hugon, beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend to many, many people, passed away in a car accident on Saturday, March 9th in Glendale, Arizona. He was 18 years old.
He was born on October 26, 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia, to his loving parents Abbe and Artur Hugon.
Tyler was full of love and joy. He truly loved hanging out with his family and his friends, walking his dog Rusty, playing volleyball at Momentum Club and BASIS Phoenix High School, skiing many places (Flagstaff, Purgatory, Telluride, Park City, Winter Park), talking about physics with his parents (who didn’t understand) and his brother John (who did understand) and his physics teacher (who mentored him).
Tyler was loved deeply and will be missed profoundly by his parents Abbe and Artur Hugon and his brother John Hugon.
He is also survived by a large family who will deeply miss his laughter and wit—Aunts Claire Hugon of Charlotte NC, Amy Arntzen of Buckeye AZ and April Jimeson of Columbus OH; Uncle Paul and Aunt Jennifer Hugon of Wooster, OH; Grandmothers Karen Hugon of Wooster, OH and Rebecca Guterba of Westerville, OH, and his Grandfather Russell Jimeson of The Villages, FL. He has many cousins who will miss him as well—Jake Mahaffey, Cole Mahaffey, Cora Hugon, Matthew (Dara) McWhirter, Daniel McWhirter, Joseph Arntzen, Kyle (Kristen) Jones, Nicole (Katie) Jones, Brandon (Abby) Jones, Daelynn McWhirter and Julian McWhirter.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., a funeral service to celebrate Tyler’s life at 2:00 P.M, and reception following at approximately 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 E.
