Athletes for Arizona
We envision schools in which all students can participate in physical, social, and mental wellbeing through planned programming and sports participation to enhance the educational, social, emotional, and physical benefits that our youth deserve in life.
Athletes for Arizona aims to galvanize sports philanthropy statewide by connecting people and organizations that value the way sports and physical activity enrich the community. The initiative is a partnership between the Arizona Community Foundation and The Be Kind People Project, designed to support youth in underserved communities, with a focus on these three main pillars:

Collaborative Approach
Through an innovative partnership between two leading organizations, Athletes for Arizona delivers physical activity programming, education on healthy living, mental health education, and increased sports participation in elementary and middle schools across Arizona.
Provides youth sports participation awards, shares funding opportunities with potential donors, engages local sports professionals, and measures the program's overall impact.
Identifies partner schools, delivers evidence-based health and character education programming , and collects and communicates program results.
Opportunities Available to Schools
Participating schools receive a comprehensive year-round program including the following services.
