Nominations Honoring Local Nonprofit Organizations and Individuals

The Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley invites the public to the Graham Greenlee Grant Celebration on Tuesday, September 17, at 4:00 p.m. at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher. This annual event celebrates the outstanding contributions of local nonprofit organizations, volunteers, and philanthropists. Volunteer and Nonprofit of the Year awardees will be announced during the celebration.

Submit nominations by Friday, August 23 in one of the following categories:

• Graham County Nonprofit Organization of the Year
• Greenlee County Nonprofit Organization of the Year
• Ed and Angie Sawyer Volunteer of the Year (Graham County)
• Greenlee County Volunteer of the Year

2023 Honorees:

• Linda Lopez – 2023 Ed and Angie Sawyer Volunteer of the Year (Graham County) for her dedicated service working to end homelessness.
• Steve Guzzo – Greenlee County Volunteer of the Year for his work honoring veterans and supporting the community.
• Gila Valley Arts Council – Graham County Nonprofit Organization of the Year for their success connecting performing artists with local youth and the community.
• Greenlee County Tourism Council – Greenlee County Nonprofit Organization of the Year for promoting awareness and positive attention to Greenlee County.
