Taylor Pineda

Vice President, Community Engagement & Impact

Taylor Pineda is Vice President, Community Engagement & Impact for the Arizona Community Foundation. In her role, she helps drive development, implementation, and evaluation of community programs, grantmaking, and impact strategies that inspire donors and community members to give and co-invest in nonprofits and community initiatives that address Arizona’s most pressing needs and opportunities in education, housing, environment, and other interest areas.

Prior to ACF, Taylor spent five years with Arizona State University (ASU), most recently as the Senior National Director for ASU Local. In this role, Taylor led a team of more than 20 professionals nationwide in the development and expansion of ASU Local, embedding higher education opportunities for students in the communities where they live and work. Before working for ASU, Taylor was the Strategy & Evaluation Manager for Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), the largest Latino nonprofit in the country, headquartered in Phoenix. CPLC provides services to people of all backgrounds while honoring Mexican American roots, with programs focused on health & human services, housing, education, economic development and advocacy.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication, with minors in media analysis and political science, and a Master of Educational Policy, both from ASU. She is passionate about serving her community and currently serves as a board member for Landing Credit Union and Prestamos CDFI Women’s Business Center and is also a volunteer Small Business Advisor.
