Jacob Schellinger

General Counsel

Jake Schellinger is General Counsel for the Arizona Community Foundation. As a key member of the executive team, he is the point person for all legal and compliance matters for ACF.  In addition, he oversees board governance and government relations for the foundation.

Prior to ACF, Jake served as Associate Attorney for Lewis Roca in the firm’s Indian Tribal Nations Practice Group, managing the day-to-day legal services for tribal government and entity clients. Prior to Lewis Roca, Jake served as Vice President of Government Relations for the National Congress of American Indians and, before that, as Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, Office of the Vice Chairman, both in Washington D.C.

Jake holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University.
