Xavier Gutierrez

Xavier A. Gutierrez is the Chairman and CEO of ImpactX Sports Group, a private investment and advisory firm focused on the global sports industry. Founded in 2024, ImpactX partners with private equity funds to acquire and operate sports assets across North America. With over 30 years in investment management and sports, Gutierrez previously led the Arizona Coyotes as President and CEO, facilitating a $1.2 billion stake sale—the largest in NHL history. He has held senior roles at Clearlake Capital and Meruelo Group and is involved in various non-profit organizations, one including the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Gutierrez co-founded SUMA Wealth, aimed at addressing the Latinx wealth gap, and launched Latinos in Sports, promoting Latino contributions to sports. He teaches finance at Arizona State University and holds degrees from Harvard and Stanford Law School.
